Paris-Roubaix

Known as The Hell of the North, Paris-Roubaix is cycling’s most infamous cobbled classic. Held in April, it covers 250 km from Compiègne to Roubaix, featuring around 30 cobbled sectors, including the brutal Trouée d’Arenberg, Mons-en-Pévèle, and Carrefour de l’Arbre. The rough terrain, dust, and mud make it the most punishing of all the Monuments.

First raced in 1896, Paris-Roubaix is a test of endurance, power, and luck, as crashes and mechanical issues often decide the race. Winners cross the line in the iconic Roubaix Velodrome, covered in dust or mud, a symbol of absolute suffering. Past legends include Roger De Vlaeminck, Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancellara, and Peter Sagan.

Winning Paris-Roubaix is a badge of honor in cycling.
